Spring/Summer 2018:

S/S ’18 Campaign:

“EXPOSITION OPPOSITES ATTRACT AND ENHANCE”

Once started as two and now together as one.

We unite what never was meant to be divided.

Multiplied against the odds. Unity equals L’ Société!

INSPIRATION

L’ORIGINE started with the two founders. Two best friends,

two different characters, but one collective goal: to bring

an extraordinary brand into the fashion world, which represents

the origin of their story in contemporary creative men’s apparel.

By complementing each other they have created L’ORIGINE and

are close to reaching that goal. L’ SOCIÉTÉ unites what never

was meant to be divided. The idea behind uniting what was never

meant to be divided, is based on the opposite characters behind

the brand and how they complement each other and become

one because of the brand. L’ORIGINE now wants to unite people

inside and outside the brand and let them enter our society where

no one is rejected, we can only complement each other.

THEME

With the title of the Campaign of the collection:

Exposition: ‘opposites attract and enhance’.

L’ORIGINE Aims to portray how opposites, like complementary

colors can look good or how black people and white people look

good together. L’ORIGINE wants to show that all opposites are

actually each others halfs and when they come together they

empower each other. Every Picture has it’s own title as L’ORIGINE

was also very much inspired by the impressionism movement

and painters like Monet in picking their colors and creating the

set for the lookbook. The set has a transparant canvas as background.

This symbolizes no prejudice, everything should be open and clear

for everyone. With tape on the floor of the set we created an open box.

The open box is occupied by the models. This is to show our society

is open for everyone to enter and the skin color of the models shows,

it doesn’t matter which race or ethnicity, everyone can enter. We hope

to unite the human race even if it’s just in our Society, every bit counts.
