Autumn/Winter 2017:

A/W ’17 Campaign:

#Colorlife

The world loses its color, as peace, love and tolerance are falling.

L’ORIGINE #Colorlife aims to resemble our world as we

love to see it: lively and full of color!

L’ORIGINE

INSPIRATION

The media in 2017 is full of news about people hurting others and

bringing them fear and sadness. Acts of terror, world leaders

speaking about war and millions of refugees left homeless

dominate the headlines daily. To escape this sad reality

L’ORIGINE holds on to the spirit of the Romantic era:

dreaming away from the daily struggle!

THEME

The world loses its color, as peace, love and tolerance are falling.

L’ORIGINE #Colorlife aims to resemble our world as we love to

see it: lively and full of color!  With L’ORIGINE #Colorlife L’ORIGINE

aims to give the world more color in the way we know best: by fashion.

COLORS

Next to our trademark Royal Blue we used the colors of the Ghanaian

flag as inspiration: red, yellow and green. These colors

represent a symbolic value.

The Ghanaian flag was designed to replace the flag of the United

Kingdom upon attainment of independence in 1957. It was flown

until 1959, and then reinstated in 1966. It consists of the Pan-African

colors of red, yellow, and green, in horizontal stripes, with a black

five-pointed star in the centre of the gold stripe. The Ghanaian flag

was the first African flag after the flag of Ethiopia to feature

these colors. Red represents the blood of those who died

in the country’s struggle for independence. Gold represents

the mineral wealth of the country. Green symbolizes the

country’s rich forests and natural wealth.

GIVING BACK

But to make the world a more colorful place we need more than just

clothes. That is why we will use a part of the revenue of L’ORIGINE

#Colorlife to make a coloring/sketch book for children. Adding color

pencils we will donate it to children/schools that could use them.

The goal is when children color, they dream away in their fantasies

and help to make this world a colorful place again.
